Partner at Covington & Burling LLP

Micaela McMurrough serves as co-chair of Covington's global and multi-disciplinary Technology Group, as co-chair of the Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things (IoT) initiative. In her practice, she has represented clients in high-stakes antitrust, patent, trade secrets, contract, and securities litigation, and other complex commercial litigation matters.

Scott Freling divides his practice between representing civilian and defense contractors in traditional government contracts matters and guiding buyers and sellers—including a number of leading private equity firms—through the regulatory aspects of complex government contracts M&A deals. Scott is a vice chair of the firm’s Government Contracts practice.
